My why
I’m walking the 5k this year for every person that has fought this battle and/or is still fighting it. I have friends and family that have battled through this and thankfully survived to tell the story, others who have not. I had a breast cancer scare early this year and I’m so grateful that the extra testing revealed that I was ok. The lead up and wait was a stressful experience and I’m counting my blessings that was all I had to deal with. My heart goes out to everyone currently fighting this battle and all the beautiful souls that have fought this in the past.
