The physical event is on Sunday 14th September at the NEW time of 9:30am setting out from Launceston's City Park.

Virtual registration gives you a FREE fundraising page - virtual entrants must complete their 5km in a location and time anytime in 2025 (except at the physical event).
Can I get merchandise?
- Self Donate* and score yourself a Women's 5km Cap.
- Raise $250 and score youreslf the 2025 T-shirt.
- Socks and legacy shirts will be available for sale at Intersport Launceston.
- On the day at City Park.

Can only women participate?
We welcome participants of all genders, ages, backgrounds and levels of fitness. The Women’s 5km is all about raising vital funds for Cancer Council Tasmania to reduce the incidents and impact of cancer on any Tasmanian. Do it for your mum, sister, aunt, step-mum, grandma, colleague, best friend... All Of Us Against Cancer
Is there an age limit to participate?
No - if you can walk or run or be pushed in pram or wheel chair, you are welcome to join in! Please note that in accordance with legislation, there are restrictions around fundraising. Please review the T&Cs for more details.
Are there any concessions on the registration fee?
Yes there will be. See ticket prices FAQs for more details. Anyone needing a carer's registration for the 2025 event please get in touch with Event Coordinator Sophie Avnell at savnell@cancertas.org.au
Do I need to run?
No, you can walk your 5km too! It’s completely up to you and based on your fitness level if you want to walk or run this 5km event. If you have been thinking about running maybe now's the time to start training.
Do I have to register my training kilometres?
No, however we do encourage you to keep track of your training and fundraising on your Women's 5km online dashboard.
Do I have to join as a team?
You can register as a team or an individual.

Do I have to be in Tasmania to participate?
No, if you are interstate or overseas, you are still welcome to join in our virtual 5km walk/run.
Where can I collect my race bib from?
- Wednesday 10th September: 10am -6pm
- Thursday 11th September: 8am – 5pm
- Friday 12th September: 8am – 5pm
- Saturday 13th September: 9am – 3pm
Race Bibs will also be available for collection on the day at City Park from 8:30am - but due to long lines and wait times at the event in previous years we encourage you to collect your bibs from St Lukes Launceston in the lead up to the day.
Race Bibs will only be available to participants who are registered for the physical event.
