I'm fundraising for Cancer Council Tasmania

🎗️ I’M RUNNING FOR A CAUSE CLOSE TO MY HEART 🎗️

On Sunday 13th September, I’ll be taking part in the Women’s 5km Walk/Run in Launceston to help raise money for Cancer Council Tasmania. 🎀

Almost everyone has, or knows, a cancer story. Unfortunately, my own cancer story is one that was very close to home. My beautiful Nanna, Helen Tubb, who lost her battle on the 21st of January 2021. 🕊️

She dedicated so much of her life to helping others, working at the Holman Clinic in Launceston, where she cared for and treated thousands of people affected by cancer.

She was, like every other individual affected by cancer, someone who had so much more life ahead of her. She deserved to spend her final years travelling, walking, loving her family and making memories, not living in pain because of cancer.

Although I wish she was still here to see the person I’m becoming, I’m incredibly proud to be able to do something in her memory. Being able to take part in the Women’s 5km and raise money for Cancer Council Tasmania means so much to me and to those who loved her. 🎗️

I’ve set myself a fundraising goal of $5,000, and I’d absolutely love your help getting there! Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference to Tasmanians affected by cancer. 🩷
