Running for hope
On September 14th, I’ll be lacing up my sneakers and joining thousands of incredible women, men, and children in Launceston’s City Park for the Cancer Council Tasmania Women's 5K Walk/Run—a vibrant, pink-powered event that celebrates life, raises awareness, and supports those affected by cancer. This isn’t just a run. It’s a movement. A moment. A mission.
🌸 Why I’m Running
Cancer has touched the lives of so many—including mine. Whether it’s a friend, a family member, or someone in our community, the impact is profound. That’s why I’m stepping up—not just to run, but to raise funds for Cancer Council Tasmania, whose programs provide vital support like transport2treatment, complementary therapies, and prevention education.
Every dollar raised helps ensure that no Tasmanian faces cancer alone.
🏃♀️ Join Me or Cheer Me On
I’ll be walking (or maybe jogging, depending on how much coffee I’ve had!) the 5km route through the heart of Launceston, dressed in pink and surrounded by a sea of support. Whether you’re joining the run, cheering from the sidelines, or donating to my fundraiser, you’re part of something powerful.
💛 How You Can Help
I’ve set a personal fundraising goal of $300, and every contribution—big or small—makes a difference. You can donate directly through my fundraiser page, share it with your network, or simply send a message of encouragement. It all fuels the cause.
Together, we’re running toward a future where cancer is less frightening, less isolating, and more survivable.
Thank you for your support, your kindness, and your belief in this mission.
Let’s make every step count 💪
