Women's 5k as a fundraiser for the cancer council.

Our team 'Annies pink lads and ladies' is in its 4th year and started with West

Launceston parents

wanting to show support

for Annie throughout her cancer treatment.

I love that we are still gathering, with an evolving group.

I see tomorrow as a chance not just to remember Annie and all those missing from our lives due to cancer, but as a chance to recognise all those left behind having experienced life altering loss (many beautiful people of whom I've met in the last year) who keep fighting every day to make the best of a life they would have never chosen.

I think we owe it to those not alive to make the most of the fact that we are, by being the healthiest and most active we can.

I would especially like to thank those beautiful friends who are still here and sitting with me through my grief - despite it often being an uncomfortable situation.
